Finance & Investing Perspectives
For most of my adult life I have worked in the finance and electronic trading space. The banking, brokerage and hedge fund industry is reviled by some and misunderstood by many. But it plays a critical (and usually positive) role in the global economy, and potentially offers useful insights for those operating in the digital marketplace.
I plan to share more about my personal portfolio and investment outlook which are, in large part, an outgrowth of my professional experience. But my interest here is to also explore how the finance industry and markets can inform our understanding of other complex systems.

In addition to exploring how the former may inform the latter, I also hope to draw on my product and business development experience in the financial technology arena. There are many ways the software development, deployment and maintenance practices in the banking and trading space can contribute to more effective operations in the online business and marketing world.
